IT and Business Support Assistant

Salary: £28,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT and Admin skills and be proficient in various office software applications. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing IT and Admin support to the team and developing and maintaining efficient processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the EJS team with various IT and Office Administrative tasks as required to enhance productivity.
- Set up and issue IT equipment to new starters, managing permissions and security appropriately.
- Respond to IT queries and issues relating to laptops, phones, printers etc, escalating to manager when required.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Prepare data reports and presentations as required.
- Maintain an organised and secure system for electronic documents in SharePoint.
- Assist with any other IT tasks as requested.
- Assist with any other general office support tasks as requested.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
- Good knowledge of MS365, general office hardware and software is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ideally with a working knowledge of Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL and CRMs is advantageous.
- Proven ability and willingness to learn and develop your IT skills across multiple disciplines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to check and analyse complex data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with general office equipment and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A positive can-do attitude.
